On Sunday, July 7th, tens of thousands of devotees of Lord Krishna will converge the celebrations at Hyde Park Corner. They will commence a Rathyathra procession to celebrate the monumental victory of Bhaktivedanta Manor, their most significant shrine outside of India. The permission for Bhaktivedanta Manor to continue as a place of public worship was granted on May 10th, 1996, marking the conclusion of a more than 10-year campaign with the support of HKTDM and the entire Hindu community across Britain, ultimately resolving the dispute.
The procession route took them from Hyde Park Corner through Knightsbridge, Sloane Street, Chelsea Bridge, culminating in Battersea Park.
