June 10, 1990 - Launch of Hare Krishna Temple Defense Movement

The Hare Krishna Temple Defense Movement (HKTDM) was established to support and protect Bhaktivedanta Manor from potential closures. Our campaign adopted the motto “Mam Anusmara Yudhya – Remember me and Fight,” echoing Lord Krishna’s message to Arjuna in the Bhagavad Gita (8:7).
