July 1995 - HKTDM Extends its Campaign to South Africa

The Vice Chairman of HKTDM, Councillor Frank Ward and other HKTDM members, journeyed to South Africa to participate in the World Hindu Federation conference. During the visit, Mr. Frank Ward had the opportunity to meet President Nelson Mandela of South Africa. He conveyed the HKTDM’s efforts in defending the closure threat faced by Bhaktivedanta Manor temple due to actions by the British Government and local Council. Frank Ward also visited various temples during his stay.
